Preparing to open for Summer 2026 Season
Family Owned and Operated Organic U-Pick Blueberry Farm
Blueberries of Indiana has been growing blueberries in Northwest Indiana since 1948. For generations, the farm has been dedicated to producing quality fruit while providing families with a place to experience agriculture firsthand.
In 2021, our family acquired the farm with a vision of building on its rich history while preparing it for the future. Since then, we have invested in the land, improved farm operations, and worked toward a goal that reflects our commitment to both our customers and the environment: USDA Organic Certification.
The 2026 growing season marks an exciting milestone as our first year as a USDA Certified Organic farm. Achieving organic certification required years of planning, recordkeeping, and careful management to meet the rigorous standards established by the United States Department of Agriculture. This certification represents our commitment to growing blueberries without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers while promoting healthy soil and sustainable farming practices.
Today, Blueberries of Indiana combines a tradition that began in 1948 with a renewed focus on responsible agriculture. We are proud to offer high-quality organic blueberries and to continue the legacy of a farm that has served Indiana families for generations.
Whether you're visiting to pick your own berries or learning more about organic farming, we are grateful to share our farm with you.
